About meOriginally from the Netherlands, I am a research scientist at OpenAI, where we work on making fundamental advancements in artificial intelligence. I got my Bachelor's and Master's at the VU University of Amsterdam and I did my PhD at the University of Wyoming.
Besides working on AI, I love outdoor activities, including hiking, climbing, snowboarding, and more. I have also been a cub-scouts leader for a long time, organizing many different activities for children between 7 and 11 years old.
